Brett Toth headed to Arizona Cardinals

Brett Toth is taking his talents to the desert.

Toth, a former Army tackle and 2018 West Point graduate, was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals Sunday after being cut by the Eagles Saturday.

Arizona is expected to add Toth, who is 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, to its 53-man roster. Toth made his NFL debut for the Eagles in their preseason finale against the Jets Thursday.

The Cardinals is a great opportunity for Toth. Arizona currently has starters D.J. Humphries and Marcus Gilbert and rookie Josh Miles on its roster.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Toth’s transaction first. Schefter said Toth can participate with Cardinals while serving at Fort Huachuca Army Base in Cochise, Ariz.
