Army opened as 11.5-point underdogs yesterday to Cincinnati but as of writing this, the Black Knights are now 15-point underdogs (+575 moneyline, o/u46) for Saturday’s road contest.
The Black Knights, #22 in the country, come into this AP Top 25 matchup having covered the spread in both their dominant wins so far this season outscoring Middle Tennessee State and Louisiana-Monroe 79-7. In fact, the defense has been so dominant that they’ve failed to hit the over in both games.
The 14th-ranked Bearcats beat Austin Peay last week 55-20 and hit the over of 53 points themselves but failed to cover the massive 38.5 spread.
Look for the under to hit once again this week and Army to cover as Cincinnati is 0-5 ATS in their last five games vs FBS Independents and six of their last seven games have gone under. The Black Knights are also 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and the under has hit in four of their last five.
