Pregame: UTSA

Yet again, no official word yet on QB Christian Anderson this week. Army hoping they can get their starting quarterback back for this road matchup versus the Univeristy of Texas-San Antonio.

Army will also be a little thin on the offensive line as junior tackle Mason Kolinchak didn’t make the trip. Kolinchak, who started three of Army’s first five games including the last two, was injured in practice during the week.

Defensive end Kwabena Bonsu will miss his second straight game due to an academy administrative issue.

The Black Knight defense will still look to continue its dominance as they rank in top 10 in the country in most statistically defensive categories.

Army is coming into this game as an eight-point favorite and will need to lean on the defense if the offense is slow to start as they were last week.

UTSA has allowed 28.2 points per game while the Black Knights have allowed only 12.6 points per game so if the Army defense is up to task like they’ve been all season, they should leave San Antonio with a win.
