Pregame: Texas-San Antonio

The availability of starting quarterback Kelvin Hopkins is in question for today’s game against Texas-San Antonio in the AlamoDome.

Hopkins is dealing with a lower-body injury and was limited in practice this week, per Army radio.
If Hopkins can’t go, sophomore Jabari Laws would start.

Senior safety Jaylon McClinton, who was banged up with an apparent shoulder injury at Michigan, is our, per Army radio.

Freshman kicker Cole Talley didn’t make the trip. Talley experienced leg tightness late in Michigan game. Senior David Cooper is expected to handle the kicking duties.

Army will be without starting cornerback Javhari Bourdeau for the first half following a debatable targeting call at Michigan last week. Sophomore Malkelm Morrison or freshman Jabari Moore may start in Bourdeau’s place.
