Nate Woody’s defense does it again

Spending much of the afternoon not being able to get the offense going, Coach Woody’s defense stepped up again like it has all season and forced two more turnovers today in their 14-9 win.

Offense failed to get going

In one of the more unique games on the schedule, The Citadel runs the same offense as the Black Knights. This made getting the offense going a lot harder as The Citadel defense practices against it every week.

Jemel Jones stepped in for injured Anderson

Quarterback Jemel Jones started today in place of Christian Anderson, who was injured during the first quarter of last week’s game, and threw for 75 yards and a touchdown as well as rushed for 45 yards and another score accounting for all of Army’s points today.

Defend Michie Stadium

The Black Knights improved to 20-2 at Michie Stadium since the start of 2017.
