Recruiting: Andre Miller affirms commitment, O’Gara, Washington join 2020 class.

Good news on the recruiting front this week before another weekend of official visits.

Savannah Country Day defensive end Andre Miller announced he has recommitted to Black Knights Thursday. Miller decommitted from Army on Dec. 15 and was receiving strong interest from Navy.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Miller was a first-team, all-state pick by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He also was recruited by Colorado, Florida Atlantic and Florida International among others.

Last weekend’s official visits landed commitments from Wyoming (Ohio) linebacker Camden O’Gara and Blair Academy (N.J.) defensive back Damon Washington.

O’Gara racked up 138 tackles, 13 for a loss, his senior season. He built a strong connection with Tennessee linebacker and 2020 commit Austin Hill during his official visit.

“I hung out with Austin a lot and he really got me on board,” O’Gara said. “All of the guys were super welcoming and the players did a great job of getting guys comfortable.

“I’m extremely excited to be a part of such a great program and historic brotherhood.”
